The design change to understand

According to The Verge’s launch report, the 10.2-inch flexible display folds inward. A privacy display is an optional extra for the 16GB/1TB configuration, costing another CNY 1,000. The publication says international release plans remain unknown.

The distinction between an optional feature and a standard one matters. Buyers should check the exact configuration on an order page rather than assume that every version includes the display shown in launch coverage.

Why the folding layout matters

A phone that opens into a larger workspace asks a different buying question from a conventional handset: will the additional screen area replace another device you actually use?
