Why the slim design matters
The unusual part of the specification sheet is the combination of a 6.39mm profile and a 6,000mAh battery. Thin phones often force a battery-capacity compromise, so TECNO is positioning the CAMON Slim 5G around avoiding that tradeoff. At 190g it is not exceptionally light, but the thickness is a defining part of the design.
Its durability claims are also stronger than a basic splash-resistance rating. Readers comparing the terminology can see our IP68 vs IP69 vs IP69K explainer. These ratings describe controlled test conditions, not a guarantee against every form of liquid damage.
Display and performance
TECNO pairs the 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. The Dimensity 7300E provides 5G connectivity and places the phone in the performance-oriented midrange rather than the entry-level segment. We have not independently benchmarked this device, so this article does not make claims about sustained gaming performance, thermal behavior or real-world battery endurance.
Cameras: what is actually confirmed
The rear system is led by a 50MP Sony LYT700C sensor with optical image stabilization, joined by an 8MP wide-angle camera and a flicker sensor. The front camera is 32MP. Sensor resolution and OIS are useful hardware facts, but they do not by themselves establish image quality; processing, optics and shooting conditions matter as well.
For context within TECNO’s current lineup, PhoneSpecX also covers the TECNO CAMON 50 and CAMON 50 Ultra.
Bangladesh price and launch availability
The Bangladesh launch price was Tk59,999 for the 8GB+256GB configuration, with VAT applicable. TECNO’s September 1 launch material set a pre-booking period of September 1-7, so that promotion is historical and should not be assumed to remain available. Current retail stock and promotional pricing can change after launch.
TECNO’s AI features
The launch material names AI Healthcare with calorie estimation, AI Nutrition Specialist, AI Pet Snap and AI Starcamp among the software features. These are manufacturer-described capabilities; their practical accuracy and usefulness have not been independently tested by PhoneSpecX.
Who should consider it?
On the confirmed specifications, the CAMON Slim 5G is most interesting to buyers who prioritize a thin chassis without giving up a large battery, plus a high-refresh AMOLED screen and strong ingress-protection claims. Buyers focused primarily on camera quality or gaming should wait for independent testing rather than infer real-world performance from sensor megapixels or chipset branding alone.
